Reef Friendly Certified

All of our products have received a Reef-Friendly Cosmetic Product Certificate from Biorius Cosmetics. To receive this certification our products been tested and proven to be free from: 

  • Oxybenzone (Benzophenone-3)

  • Octinoxate (Octyl Methoxycinnamate)

  • Octocrylene

  • 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor

  • PABA derivatives (e.g. Ethylhexyl Dimethyl PABA and PEG-25 PABA)

  • Octisalate (Ethylhexyl Salicylate) Homosalate

  • Avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane).

Environmentally Friendly Packaging

We use the least amount of plastic possible for our products. Our packaging consists mostly of aluminum, bamboo, and glass. Even our labels are recycled paper! 


Why Aluminum? 

Aluminum is the most recycled material in existence. We believe that the use of aluminum against other materials like plastic is (at this time) the best option for our environment and our products because aluminum is infinitely recyclable without losing quality. If something better comes along, we'll be all over it!

  • MICROPLASTICS: Our products do not contain intentionally added synthetic polymer microparticles or components containing microparticles that can be harmful to us and our oceans.

  • NANOMATERIALS: Our products do not contain any nanomaterials or components that contain nanomaterials according to Cosmetic Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.

  • PHTHALATES: Our products not contain phthalates including Dibutyl phthalate, Diethylhexyl phthalate, Butylbenzyl phthalate, di-2-methoxyethyl phthalate, di-n-pentyl phthalate, Diisopently phthalate,Diisobutyl phthalate, Diethyl phthalate, Dimethyl phthalate,Dicyclohexyl phthalate, di-n-octyl phthalate
